Help Us Get To The Wasatch Back

The Food and Meat Co-op is so, so excited to be expanding our mission and passion once again to a new area of Utah!

We have several participants that venture over the mountains from Morgan County, Wasatch County and Summit County to pick up their food at one of our locations in the Wasatch Front.

Well, after many months of begging us to come, we are now making this official by bringing the co-op right into your neck of the woods!

Who we are?

The Food and meat co-op started in May of 2020. We are a team of moms and entrepreneurs at heart who developed a passion during COVID-19 to help local businesses. Through our passion to help save businesses while staying home during quarantine, we realized the BIG gap between food sources and the consumer. From this the Food and Meat co-op was born and today thousands of families participate each month across 3 states!

Why a Co-op?

The Food and Meat Co-op is Moms on a mission to feed Utah with good food deals direct from our local farmers and food sources! We strive to help offer bulk options to help save families money on their much needed food items.

  • Bulk, wholesale group pricing for significant savings over retail.
  • Made fresh, packed fresh, delivered fresh all within a short time period - this means that you can actually eat locally processed and locally focused beef and a taste in that freshness that can't be beat.
  • Local processing - which means you are supporting local business and the local Utah economy from a few different levels! There are at least 3 local businesses that receive your business in this process, along with helping to support fellow local co-op families in Utah with group-buying benefits.
  • Direct - there is no retail middle-man, which means that your product has only been touched by the butcher last and has not been sitting in store fridges for others to handle before you get it! This brings comfort and assurance that you have control from nearly the beginning.
  • Paid members get early ordering, express pickup and 5% off. Learn about our VIP Membership here and watch this video for more information! This membership is NOT required to participate in the Food and Meat Co-op. It is a bonus benefit for those who choose to financially support the Co-op!

Local Grassfed Beef

Golden Hour Farm - Hyrum, UT

After living 8 years in Europe while Spencer played professional basketball, we were ready to slow down and live the simple life. Chelsey has always had a passion for animals and admires the "self sustaining" lifestyle. Once Spencer met his Highland Cattle he couldn't get land fast enough. Since acquiring our land and adding 2 kids to the bunch, we have been fully devoted to making Golden Hour Farm a fully operational, self sustaining, and beautiful farm. We hope our love, passion, and authentic lifestyle gets passed down through our livestock to our customers. Whether we serve 1 or 1 million people, we are honored to be part of the farming community. We believe there is no better place to raise a family than right here on our farm, Golden Hour Farm.

Local American Wagyu Beef

Bennion Beef - Vernon, UT

In 1997, Alan and Elizabeth left the rat race and took over the family ranch which included living off-grid and 6 miles off the pavement at the foot of Greenjacket Hill near Vernon, Utah. Determined to restore the ranch, the family remodeled the house, rebuilt fences, plowed, planted, irrigated, bred, and calved-out cattle. They improved range for wildlife, especially the western Sage Grouse and were once named Ranchers of the Year by the Society for Range Management. Read more Here.
