Because this is a share instead of a normally boxed product, the farmer does not do additional discounts on the shares, so this is the final price, with no additional fees since this price includes butcher fees and everything! :)
These are raised in Hyrum, UT and Burley, ID on pastures from start to finish. The pastures are grass pastures, effectively making this a grassfed/finished beef product - they will be labeled as pasture-raised.

All shares contain local pasture-raised beef cuts, 40-50% of it ground beef, and the rest a mixture of Beef Tenderloin, Rib Eye, New York, Flank, Flat Iron, Skirt, Top Sirloin Steak, Cube Steak, Tri-Tip, London Eye, Brisket, Sirloin Tip, Chuck Roast, Short Rib, Boneless Short Rib, Stew, Hanger Steak, Ribs.
No 2 boxes will ever be the same. In an effort to use every part of the cow and not be wasteful, each 1/16th, 1/8th, 1/4th, 1/2 and full share includes a mixture of random cuts and every box gets half ground beef and then a mixture of high-end steaks, mid-level steaks, and roasts to where each box has a similar value and then sold at the co-op. This way, every box carries similar value and allows for buying cow meat in bulk at direct co-op pricing—helping you save big!
