These cuts are the imperfect or miscuts from the beautifully trimmed and individually frozen full organic breasts for retail. So these are the reject cuts, but they are still the same amazing organic chicken product. Instead of wasting the imperfect cuts, they put them in a box until it reaches 40lbs and then they freeze them. They send to us for our participants that want to do the work of defrosting and repacking how they want. Thus, the $3 per lb savings on one of the best organic chicken options out there.
These will come in a FROZEN BLOCK, so it just needs to be defrosted and repacked. I plan to cook half and freeze it and freeze the second half raw so I have already cooked organic chicken solutions for fast meals.
