Mulay's natural heritage bred clean pork products are becoming a co-op favorite. We will feature a different product each month from one of our favorite pork farmers. Mulay's pork comes from just over the border in Colorado. She uses small family farms in the midwest and she pays them a fair and livable wage. These farmers subsequently raise the finest of pork with the very best of farming practices and subsequent savory and delicious pork products, fresh from the butcher!
This month's better-than-organic feature is the Mild Italian Ground Sausage!
Great Italian flavor without the heat. Created after years of “begging” from a contingent of folks who insisted that they loved the original sausage, but it was just too spicy for some recipes or their kids or grandma.
Please note: This comes in one 10lb frozen bag. You can cook all at once and refreeze, or defrost and pack in smaller packages and refreeze. We would suggest cooking all at once and storing in freezer in portioned cooked amounts for ease in future breakfast and entree' dishes.
The only other place these are sold in Utah is at Natural Grocer's. Purchasing through the co-op in bulk is a significant savings.
