Ingredients:
- 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
- 4 slices beef bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
-
In a large skillet, cook the chopped beef bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
-
In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
-
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are golden brown and softened, about 5-6 minutes.
-
Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
-
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss until the pasta is coated evenly.
-
Serve the beef bacon and mushroom pasta in bowls or on plates. Sprinkle the crispy beef bacon on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
-
Enjoy your delicious beef bacon and mushroom pasta!
