🚐 Meet Our New Delivery Van: HUGE THANKS to the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food

Big Win for Local Food! Food and Meat Co-op Awarded State Grant to Expand Farm-to-Table Access Across Utah

We’re beyond thrilled to announce some incredible news that marks a major milestone in our mission to make farm-fresh food more accessible to Utah families!

Food and Meat Co-op, operated by Food Seriously Good, LLC, has officially received a grant from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food through the FY2022 Utah Food Hub Startup & Development Fund. This grant is helping us level up our ability to connect Utah’s best local farmers directly with the families who value and rely on fresh, high-quality food.

So, what does this mean for you?

🚐 Meet Our New Delivery Van!

With the funds awarded, we’ve proudly purchased and customized a 2021 Ford Transit Van—complete with temperature-controlled compartments for frozen and refrigerated transport. This van is the ultimate upgrade, allowing us to deliver farm-fresh meats, produce, and pantry staples directly to more homes than ever before. It’s not just a van—it’s a mobile hub for local food distribution, ready to roll into neighborhoods all along the Wasatch Front.

🌐 Website Overhaul = Smarter Service

The grant is also funding a major website revamp—think smarter, faster, and more user-friendly. The new platform will:

  • Use zip code geofencing to match customers to the best pickup locations and delivery routes in real time.

  • Offer more flexible delivery options and easier opt-in/opt-out scheduling.

  • Include powerful data tools to help us expand to new areas, support local producers, and grow the co-op community across Utah.

This is more than just convenience—it’s a digital upgrade designed to make farm-to-table easier, faster, and more accessible for every household we serve.
