This item is an OVERSTOCK acquisition. Sometimes in our pursuit of delicious foods for the co-op, we come across a product that is an overstock from a farmer/supplier/source and being sold below wholesale pricing at a loss to "clear it out." As such, our occasional overstock items are already at the lowest possible price, so no additional discounts (like VIP Insider's) will apply to this product. 

Have you ever seen those fancy and expensive soups in restaurants or even in the grocery stores pre-made in their deli hot or even to purchase cold in the tubs for $5+ per lb? Well, now you can take those restaurant prepped frozen soups home for only $1.50 lb with this overstock deal!

These are awesome finds for the cold weather and busy holiday season time period. There is a limited supply and they are gone when they are gone. 

A rich, earthy blend of Portobello mushrooms and tender barley in a hearty vegetable broth made with Sauterne wine.

This product is made via Campbell's restaurant foodservice kitchen and is packed in 4 4-lb bags for 16 lbs total. 

  • CAREFULLY CRAFTED: This satisfying vegetarian soup is a rich, earthy blend of Portobello mushrooms and tender barley in a hearty vegetable broth made with Sauterne wine.
  • SIMPLE PREP: A good partner puts in the prep work for you. It's a 1:1 ratio, so you just need to add liquid, heat and serve.
  • VERSATILE OPTION: This soup is excellent as is or added with your favorite ingredients to make this soup your own. It can serves as a base to one of your signature creations.
  • MENU INSPIRATION: Think beyond appetizers. Try it as a main dish with a premium garnish, as a side to a meal or with the classic sandwich or salad.
  • ONLY THE GOOD STUFF: This has no HFCS, no added MSG, no partially hydrogenated oils, and no colors from artificial sources, making it a wholesome option you can feel good about serving.

Cooking Directions: This product may be tempered up to 48 hours in a 40 degrees F. refrigerator prior to cooking. Peel back plastic film starting from one edge. Keep film to view cooking directions. 1. If soup is frozen, run knife around soup blocks in trays to loosen. Empty the 2 trays of soup into large saucepot. 2. Fill both of the trays with water (64 fl. oz. in total). Add to saucepot. 3. Heat to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low. Boil gently, stirring frequently to break up any frozen pieces, until temperature reaches 190 degrees F. 4. Transfer to holding kettle or steam table.

    Notes about pickup:

    1. Social distancing happens because you do not leave your car. We come to you in the parking lot and wear masks to serve you, but there is no exposure to one another. This is a safe and in fact the best practice even for those in quarantine to be able to get fresh food still. 

    2. You can send anyone to pickup your order. It does not need to be you. This allows you to work around any scheduling conflicts you may have, so you don't miss out.
